The moral high ground

I would like to rename our conciliation session "the moral high ground". Without going into all the details of the session, it entailed myself, the other party and a registrar of the court sitting around a small table discussing the case. I believe I spoke about 5% of the time, the registrar spoke 8% of the time and "the other party" spoke 87% of the time.

The session involved
"the other party" taking what he believes to be the moral high ground and in the face of an almost certain loss in court, ensuring that we all have to attend because he wishes to teach us a lesson for our bad manners.

I continue to find it difficult to believe that he can run a business (in fact several businesses in Canberra) and not expect people to want and need access to that place of business - especially something like a wedding where people have so much invested into this one event (hopefully in their life).

I welcome everybody's comments - let me know if the comments thing isn't working.

Hello! i'm just making a comment for the hell of making a comment. Also nobody else has so i'm first yay! and i'm at uni bored. However, since i'm here i might as well just say that that guy you were dealing with and taking to court is a tosser! Obviously he never learned anything useful about customer service! We're all much better off at the botanical gardens!

What a silly little man! Don't let this nonsense spoil your special day, which will be all the more perfect for being held in such beautiful surroundings. We can't wait to see you again, Alice, and to meet Chris and we are looking forward to The Wedding and helping you celebrate the start of a wonderful life together.

Lots of Love
Sarah & Martin xxx

I could say!! Let’s do something radical a la americana such as raid the ranch! But I think I’ll keep those kinds of ideas for my self!
I am glad that is at the botanical gardens because it gives me enough time to put on extra make up!! (Yes one never knows who one could meet at a weeding (wink))
